Summer 2025
Creative Cabana Design Internship
Overview:
During my internship at Creative Cabana, I worked on designing internal webpages for the company and supporting client projects, including creating brand guidelines, preparing digital assets, and assisting with other design needs. This experience gave me a firsthand look at how a small creative studio operates and the variety of skills required to balance multiple projects at once.
One of the challenges I faced was working with incomplete content or placeholder materials. As a result, I had to anticipate how final assets would fit into the designs while still maintaining a professional and cohesive look. I learned how to adapt quickly between internal tasks and client work, ensuring all designs aligned with brand standards and were visually consistent. Through this experience, I gained valuable insight into professional workflows, collaboration within a creative team, and translating brand identities into functional digital materials. Overall, it strengthened my confidence and understanding of the design process in a real-world studio setting.

Parts of these webpages may appear incomplete due to missing images or client-provided content that was not available during the design phase.

Reflection:
This internship gave me the opportunity to explore different areas of design that I hadn’t worked with before, from digital projects like webpages to client-facing brand materials. It was exciting to experiment with new tools and approaches, and it helped me discover interests I want to pursue further. The experience also pushed me to think critically about how design decisions affect both usability and visual impact, giving me a better understanding of how to approach projects holistically.
